New Post Falls

Last Saturday afternoon we drove west to Smooth Rock Falls, and then turned north to Fraserdale, the site of a Ontario Power hydro-electric dam. Friends had told us about some amazing water falls, and we were given approximate directions. However, upon reaching Fraserdale we asked a couple out with their dogs for further directions. They kindly offered to guide us to the falls, for which we were thankful! Upon reaching the falls, we were astounded by the magnatude of the drop into the canyon! Hiking first to the top of the falls, Cameron took this picture. Then, we hiked to the lower side of the falls, to get the perspective from below. By that night we had not only taken some great pictures, but also had made new friends!
